A Little About Me
Â
I'm a therapist, a school counselor for the past 18 years, a mom to two adult children, and someone who is still learning and growing along the way. Life has taught me that things don't always go as planned, growth isn't always comfortable, and sometimes a little humor makes all the difference.
My approach to therapy is grounded in connection, compassion, and authenticity. I believe therapy should feel like a safe, comfortable space where you can be yourself, without judgment or pressure to have everything figured out.
Mountain biking has become an unexpected part of my own personal growth. I didn't start riding because I was fearless. I started because I was curious. Along the way, I've learned a lot about facing fears, trusting myself, and stepping outside my comfort zone—lessons that extend well beyond the trail.
Whether we're connecting through virtual counseling or working together on the trail, my goal is to help you feel heard, supported, and empowered to grow.
And yes… I still get nervous before challenging rides. But I've learned that courage, both on the trail and in life, isn't about being fearless. It's about taking that first step, even when you're unsure of what's ahead.
